I don't really update this journal as frequently as I should, but I had a spare moment to do so....

School is great, I am half way done with my third semester and I will be going into our restaurant soon. Yay how exciting! I have break coming up starting on the 10th and Ann and I are going to Rehoboth for a few days. I also decided to double major so I won't graduate now untill June of 2007. I decided to take the baking and pastry program as well...I didn't think that I like to bake however it turns out that I am good at it :)!

Ann and I are great, we just had our 1 year anniversary and things are fantastic. My parents really like her and they are ok with me being a lesbian and things couldnt be better. AJ turned three and his party was at chuck e cheese in allentown on saturday. He had so much fun!!! He was sad that Ann wasn't there because he loves his "aunt ann" so much!! I quit the Giant and went back to eat n park....reasons? Well, they suck.

:)

Take care all!

Almost done with second semester

Well second semester is coming to a close here in a couple of days, I am pretty excited and I can't wait till Thursday comes and second semester is OVER! Although I have done well again, I am going to be exhausted next semester. My schedule is pretty intense as I have 5 eight week classes that are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Then, the last 7 weeks of school I will be in the restaurant that our school owns. It's just amazing that in 8 months I will be done with school and my externship and I will be making a decision as to what part of the country I will be living in. I made the dean's list for this semster so my GPA for both semesters is a 4.0 and if I keep that trend up (which i don't forsee any reasons that I can't) I shouldn't struggle with finding a job. Ann and I haven't ruled out me taking a job out of state, as she has a job that is easy to find another one....police officers are always needed regarless of where you go...!!

I like my new car....I pay a little more a month than I use to but I got a car that will last me a nice long time if an old woman doesn't pull out in front of me ever again that is.....

My mom got a new car recently----she got a Honda CRV, it's a 2004 but it only has like 16,000 miles on it and it is sweeeeeet! In other news, she will be having yet another knee surgery on the 13th of this month....hopefully this will reduce some of the pain that she has been having.

Congrats to Brandon for becoming a JackGaughen Real Estate Agent! I am so proud of the man that you have become Brandon, and I am also proud of you for how well matured you have become. I have always had such faith in you and I can't wait till you become a wonderful professional that I know that you are!!!

Well I need to go make Ann some black bean soup and marinate the pork tenderloin for dinner....take care kiddies!

Tata!

~~della

Well besides this being day two of my rejoining weight watchers, i got in a car accident today. I was driving down 23 in maryland and this woman drove her PT cruiser right out of her driveway without even looking to see if anyone was coming. Well needless to say, I t-boned her. She is 61 and this goes back to my whole theory that people over the age of 55 need to be tested for their driving capabilities. Once the state troopers showed up, they gave her multiple citations. I need her to claim liablility for me to get my rental car, but that will most likely happen tomorrow. I went to some hospital via ambulance today and was treated for back spasms and a badly bruised clavical. Everyone was quite surprised that my airbags didn't deploy. I have to wait for a claims adjuster to make a decision on totalling my car or fixing it.....whata freaking mess. I thought that my car would be worse than it was, but it was a whole mess as it is. I really was scared, especially when the rainbow of colored liquids flowed from my car. The good thing is that I am ok, and the state troopers proved it was not my fault at all. I wll update more when I know more.........

So things have been quite busy recently....School is alot harder this semester than it was the last. I really have to put more of an effort into my studies and my classes are alot more in depth. I have no regrets about going to school however I just wish that I didn't have to work so I had more time to dedicate to my studies. I just have to keep on telling myself....I will be done....I will be done...and then I will be done!

Thanksgiving was nice, Angie and the boys came home and they are both getting so so big! Ryan still resembles the quizno baby and AJ is talking more and more each day. Love them!

I had to drive up from Maryland (ann came with) on friday and take hera to the vet because she is suffering from Severe seperation anxiety. We have to work on "behavior modification" and they gave us a DAP and calming pills. Cost? $100! Jeesh......but she is worth every penny!

Ann and I are doing fantastically.......Love her to pieces!

~~Della

I don't get much time to myself anymore, but that's ok....Im too busy to notice! I know that I haven't been faithful to this live journal, but truth be told I just don't have to time in my day to sit in front of a computer. I don't have class on Fridays (thank god, or someone up there) and I came out to write a paper for my food science class--and thought I would take a break! Well for those of you who don't know--I am out to my parents and things are going really well. They like Ann and I don't think that I would ever see the day that I actually came out. I love Ann so much I want my family to share in the happiness, plus--it was time, I was tired of feeling like I lived a lie! This was one of the most liberating things I have ever done for myself. A.J. came home for the weekend last weekend and Ann and I had a blast with him. We will make a great parenting team when it comes time for that. My family calls her "Aunt Ann" how freaking cool is that?!?!?!

I MADE THE DEANS LIST LAST SEMESTER! I GOT A 4.0!!!!!! HOLY SHIT! To all the neigh-sayers this is what I have to say----eat a dick....I'm in college and I am in the top of my class, now what bitches?!? I said that when I enroll in college, I will not full around--well I fully intend on graduating from school with top honors. I am quite proud of myself.

I got a new job working at the Giant in Camp Hill. I work directly under the chefs and it's a good time. I've been making salads for customers, but hey I don't care, they offered me a pretty nice dollar amount an hour--so why not?

Hope everyone is doing well....

~~Della~~

Happy Independence Day Everyone.....(sorry that I'm a day early..)

So what's new with everyone? Let's see....time for an update!

School is so much fun. It's hard work, but it is what I wanted for the longest time, so the hard work that I am putting forth with hopefully pay off in the end when I get a job that pays kick ass money. It's not easy working full time and going to school full time, but hey I'm getting A's in my classes and on my tests, so who cares?!?

Ann and I are great. Things couldn't be better. She came up on Friday and had lunch with me at school, then she drove to Harrisburg and got our room for the weekend. Friday night was sweet we just sat around and drank a bottle of wine and went to bed. Saturday we went to the music fest, then went to the park and layed in the shade and talked and cuddled. It was really sweet. It was one of those moments that I wish I could freeze time, because it was perfect. After we left the park we went to the hotel to change and get ready for Vashti's wedding. She looked absolutely beautiful. The wedding was ok, very disorganized, but ok. After we went to the wedding we went to Kat's house for her 30th birthday party...good times.

All in all life is great.

Take care all!

***Things are really starting to come to a reality here....school starts in 6 days! OMG! I can't wait. I am so excited. I can't hardly stand myself that's how excited I am.

***In other news, I have the best gf known to mankind. She is fucking amazing. I love her with every ounce of my being. I don't know what I would do without her. She makes my life complete. She makes my bad days brighter and fills my heart with so much happiness.

***I am really glad that I am not involved in any of this crazy drama that is occuring....I have left the dramatic crowd, now the only drama in my life is with my friends and their girls, but that is to be expected....

***I am frustrated with my weight watchers plan, I need to get back on track but I just seem to have totally lost the focus. Sigh. I'm at 30 pounds lost, and I need the re-motivation with the last 40 pounds. Damnit why am I such a slacker?

***Talked to Brandon the other day and found out some wonderfully exciting news (love ya guys!)

***DID I MENTION THAT I AM COMPLETELY IN LOVE??? HEAD OVER HEELS, RIDICULOUSLY IN LOVE. I WANT TO GET MARRIED TOMORROW, TODAY, YESTERDAY.....SOON! BUT, ALL GOOD THINGS MUST WAIT, AND ARE WORTH WAITING FOR....

LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!

Everything in my life really is going pretty well! Mom is healing more and more each day. Hopefully by next week she will be able to drive because my dad and I are getting really tired of being a personal taxi service! Dad seems to like his "post-retirement" job. All he does is clean Members1st for 3 hours every night. It's kinda funny! Things with Kelly and I are amazing. Every day I grow fonder and fonder of her and realize what an amazing person she is!
